Views of the South West Exhibition

Winter mistiness Cheddar Gorge was painted exactly a year ago from my parked car. I don't paint from photos, but always paint on the spot so I need a way to shelter from the cold in winter.

Gateway to the West: Severn Lodge Farm and Bridge, painted over 2 days in October 2016. It looks sunny but there was a freezing wind so I had on a lot of layers. There is no car access so I had to stand on the footpath to paint this.

 I am exhibiting these two oils  in the Clifton Arts Club 'Views of the South West ' Exhibition  at the Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre from 17th -25th March 2018. 10-5pm.      I missed last Sundays Meet the Artist because of the snow but I will be  stewarding on Sunday 25th from 10-1.45 if you want to drop by for a chat.
