Experiencing the natural world through art
Rose COttage with traffic cone.
Painting at the lovely garden at Rose Cottage, East Harptree for the third time. The traffic cone was there to stop people falling into the gap by the path during garden open days. I was attracted by the orange of it and the hose pipes and links to the cottage roof. And I am also fond of road furniture as a subject wherever it turns up.
Had a great time at the BS9 Art trail weekend. This is the second year I have taken part and once again I was with a great group of 17 artists at St Monicas, off Westbury Road, Bristol. This photo shows paintings done in situ around Bristol and the Mendips, but I also showed several of my Cornish pictures done during my residency last year at Brisons Veor.
