My outdoor painting season has come to an end early this year as I had my  hand op on  September 1st so have to rest from art for a bit.
            Here is one of the oils I did in July painting in the garden at Rose Cottage, East Harptree.
            27 oils so far which is only one less than last year.
          Staddle stones are now seen as garden ornaments but were originally made to go under haystacks and wooden barns to keep them dry and off the ground .

Both the old and new Severn Bridges are great painting subjects. This view is from the Chepstow side and the 2014 painting Aust Jetty is from the other side. It is very windy today so I don't know if the planned 50th anniversary vintage car procession will be allowed to cross as they frequently have to shut the bridge in high winds.
