![]() I am showing these two oils in the North Somerset Arts Group '20x20' exhibit at Weston Old Town Quarry. On the left is 'Birch and Wildflowers, Lady Farm, Chelwood and on the right 'Severn Bridge from Portishead'. The Quarry is just up from the north end of Weston Beach and is now a nature reserve with cafe. While setting up today we saw 2 peregrine falcons , several jackdaws, and 2 ravens chasing off a fox

![]() At last several days without rain and although not that warm, I did drive over to Wales to Dunraven Bay which is part of the Glamorgan Heritage coastline and only 60 miles from Bristol. It is a favourite spot of ours for painting with great cliff strata and limestone pavements at low tide. You can see the cliffs behind our heads in the blog photo. That time we were on the cliff top and stopped by extreme wind. Today we were on the beach and got caught by the advancing tide. |
