MASS WORLD RECORD LANDSCAPE PAINTING EVENT : SUNDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2019 AT LANDS END, CORNWALL. I went to Lands End with painting buddy Jane Cawson, to join in the Mass World Record Landscape painting attempt. Over a thousand people were taking part. It was organised by artist Anthony Garrett, the Newly School of Art and the National Trust and we had a spot somewhere between Lands End and Sennen beach. CLIFTON ARTS CLUB 110TH ANNUAL OPEN SUMMER EXHIBITION, From 3 RD - 18TH AUGUST 2019, DAILY 11.30-17.30 .

These are 4 of the 5 oil paintings I am exhibiting at the Clifton Arts Club 110th Open Exhibition. From 3-18th August, The Undercroft, Victoria Methodist Church, 1 Whiteladies Road, Bristol . From left to right : Tide Out Severn Beach 2018, Summerhouse with sunflowers 2018, MacArthurs Warehouse Bristol Docks 2016, and Mini Garden at Holt Farm 2018.

Very sorry to see Notre Dame burning down on Monday and glad the external structure is still standing.. I have a quick sketch I did from the front, when visiting Paris in 2015. It was Easter Sunday, the 5th April 2015 with Easter crowds queueing to enter. I didn't have time to go inside.

Just Finished : From 13th August 2018 -10 Nov 2018: I had 3 oils on show at Savilles, The Mall, Clifton , Bristol. They are, Boat at Wick Quarry, Chestnuts on th Portway and From Priests Cove to Landsend.

Pink Path. Pine tree at Rock House, Elberton and this oil of the cherry in the garden of the Holy Trinity Church, Hotwells, Bristol are 3 oils I exhibited at the recent Clifton Arts Club 109th Open Exhibition. 4th - 19th August 2018 at the Victoria Methodist Church, Whiteladies Road, Bristol (next to the RWA).

Just closed: March 2018 . I exhibited 2 paintings in the 'Views of the West' exhibition at the Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor centre : They are both oils. Winter Mistiness, Cheddar Gorge and Gateway to the West - Severn Lodge farm and the second Severn crossing.

CLEVEDON ARTS CLUB 61st Annual Exhibition 2017. Last Day August Bank holiday Monday 10.30-5pm. I had two paintings on show here - both of ponds. They were Reflection Pool , Holt Farm and Ready to Dive,The Pool , Serridge House , Coalpit Heath.

My exhibition of eight of my paintings of the dramatic cliffs of Cheddar Gorge has just finished. But you can still visit this limestone gorge in the Mendip Hills, which is only 30 miles from Bristol and a favourite painting spot of mine.

JUST GONE : at Steak of the Arts, Cathedral Walk , Harbourside, Bristol, BS1 5LW. 24th April 2017 to 3rd June 2017. Daily 11am -11pm. I exhibited 2 oils in the Clifton Arts Club exhibition: Chapel Point, Mevagissy and Stokesheath Farm barn.

Recently on show at Savilles ,Clifton Village, Autumn 2018, this was originally exhibited from 25th March - 2nd April 2017 at Bristol Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre, Leigh Woods in the 'Inspired by Bristol '.Exhibition .
I exhibited 'Chestnut on the Portway, Avon Gorge, Bristol' at this Clifton Arts Club Members only exhibition. The A4 Portway runs through the Avon Gorge and under Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge, which you see in the distance in my painting. You can also see it on the BS9 Art trail in June 10th/11th.
