Experiencing the natural world through art
The first week of April 2017 brings unexpected warmth and the enjoyment of painting outdoors. No need for the indoor shelter of the Cheddar cottage. In gardens birch and even apple trees coming into leaf and some blossom nearly over. Many trees are now 2 weeks ahead but not oak and ash yet which are always last to leaf up. Painted in gardens and also had two trips to Leigh Woods (National Trust), North Somerset.
