This is my first use of paper cut from a huge roll of Fabriano Watercolour paper I bought to enable myself to try larger formats.
The roll is 1.5m x 10m but my first effort is a modest 47x 60 cm.
Watercolour artist Paul Weaver loaned me one of his Freestyle 'one brush does all' brushes (available from Rosemary & Co) for the day.
As I didn't finish I came back the next week to do more . This lovely garden is open two days a week for summer and also has a great cafe and loads of painting subjects so I decided to buy a season ticket.
Lots of butterflies, azure damselflies and squeeks and divings in the grass, presumably from shrews. Canada geese in the field and the afternoon procession of cows passing back and forth to the milking parlour. (This is the home of Yeo Valley Yogurt)
