Experiencing the natural world through art
October on the banks of the Severn
Starting back with art after my September hiatus, I took the 20 minute walk from Severn Beach train station along the coast path to paint this view at Severn Lodge Farm. It is one of the few remaining old buildings at the former 19th century train and ferry terminal at New Passage. I cut conservation card to get a long board so I could get both house and bridge in. No priming so it has come out rather matt as the medium has sunk into the card. Look back to my June blog to see my view from the opposite ferry landing point at Black Rock, Portskewett in Wales.
