| Bit of a bombshell at the end-of-term Life class on Thursday when Will Stevens announced he was giving up running his Bristol Grammar School evening classes after about 20 years. So sad to lose this great and popular drawing opportunity but all the best to Will and Imogen. He will still be taking his teaching classes. Coincidently the week before we had double poses which were just right for my 'Adam and Eve' project. The 15 minute pose of standing figures for The Tree of Knowledge. Should they, or shouldn't they take the apple? The marvelous knarled tree was sketched at the zoo - a Midland Hawthorn . The lions had gone indoors to shelter from cold and rain so I need another visit to add them to the seated figures for The Garden of Eden. |  I am waiting for a dry day to go back to the zoo to sketch in the background for this life drawing. |
