My favourite spot to paint is Cheddar Gorge and when it was hot I went for 4 days during the sunny April weather. I bought a Cheddar Gorge Climbs book to try and work out exactly what I have been painting. This is the view up the gorge from Landslip Quarry. On the right is the base of High Rock (which towers out of the painting)
I was trying out my new Cobra Oils (by Royal Talens) which I bought on my recent Paris trip.
The second Painting is of Heart leaf Bluff (on the left) from the car park opposite. I haven't worked out what the right hand rock is called yet but it is on the south side of the road.
